These terms govern your use of our website and your interaction with our bespoke creations, including leather, wood, and art pieces shaped by hand, heart, and myth.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or purchasing from our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, we ask that you refrain from using the site or placing an order.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the website after changes implies acceptance.
2. Nature of Products
Each ERED LUIN creation is a one-of-a-kind artifact—woven from leather, wood, thread, and story. As such:
- Handcrafted Variations: Slight imperfections, asymmetries, or material quirks are not flaws—they are signatures of the hand, marks of authenticity, and part of the enchantment.
- Material Integrity: We work with natural materials that may evolve over time. Patina, texture shifts, and tonal changes are expected and celebrated.
Such qualities will not be considered as defective or grounds for return
3. Refunds & Returns
Due to the bespoke nature of our work:
- No Refunds or Returns: Once a piece is crafted or dispatched, it cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged.
- Custom Orders: All customizations are final. We do not support alterations post-purchase.
We encourage you to review product details, dimensions, and customization options carefully before placing your order. If you need guidance, we’re here to help before the crafting begins.
Exceptions:
At ERED LUIN, we take pride in the craftsmanship and integrity of every artifact we offer. We understand that, on rare occasions, a product may not meet expectations due to defect or error. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and applicable Indian laws.
Eligibility for Return
Returns are accepted under the following conditions:
- Defective Product: The item received is damaged, broken, or does not function as intended.
- Incorrect Item: The product delivered does not match the item ordered as in the order confirmation / sign-off form sent from us to the email address provided prior to payment for the respective order.
- Misrepresentation: The product materially differs from its description, images, or stated specifications from that which is detailed in the order confirmation / sign-off form sent from us to the email address provided prior to payment for the respective order.
Returns will not be accepted for reasons of personal preference, change of mind, or dissatisfaction with aesthetic qualities, unless the product is defective or misrepresented.
Condition of Product to be eligible for return:
- The product must be reported within 7 calendar days of delivery.
- The item must be returned in its original packaging, unless the defect or error was only discoverable upon opening.
- Items that have been used, altered, or damaged by the customer are not eligible for return.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Products that have been opened or unsealed, except in cases of defect or misrepresentation.
- Customized or personalized items, unless defective.
- Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” at the time of purchase.
Return Process
To initiate a return, please write to us at connect@eredluin.com with the following details:
- Order ID
- Description of the issue
- Clear photographs of the product and packaging
Once approved, we will arrange for pickup or provide instructions for return shipping. Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days of receiving the returned item.
Refund Method
Refunds for eligible returns will be issued via:
- Original payment method (if prepaid)
- Bank transfer or store credit (for Cash on Delivery orders)
Refunds may be subject to deductions for shipping or handling fees, unless the return is due to defect or error.
Legal Assurance
This policy is presently aligned with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the E-Commerce Rules, 2020. ERED LUIN remains committed to lawful, transparent, and respectful commerce, and will continue to honor the rights of every customer in accordance with applicable regulations as they evolve.
4. Shipping & Delivery
- Dispatch Timelines: Each piece is made with care. Estimated dispatch times are shared on product pages or via email.
- Delays: While we strive to meet timelines, occasional delays may occur due to material availability, weather, or courier constraints. We’ll keep you informed.
- Responsibility: Once dispatched, responsibility for delivery lies with the shipping provider. We are not liable for delays or damages caused in transit, though we will assist in resolution where possible.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website—including product designs, images, text, and branding—is the intellectual property of ERED LUIN. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.
Artist Submissions & Display Rights
By submitting artwork to ERED LUIN, the artist and/or submitter affirms that they are the rightful creator or have obtained necessary permissions to share the work. The artist/submitter grants ERED LUIN a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, promote, and archive the submitted work across digital platforms and branded materials, always with attribution
Curation & Removal
ERED LUIN reserves the right to curate, edit, or remove submitted works at its discretion, in alignment with the evolving aesthetic and thematic vision of the platform. Artists may request removal of their work at any time, and such requests will be honored within a reasonable timeframe.
Note on Individual Agreements
In cases where a formal artist agreement has been executed between the contributor and ERED LUIN, the terms outlined in that agreement shall take precedence over any general provisions stated herein.
Collaborative Ethos
All submissions are received in the spirit of mutual respect and creative collaboration. ERED LUIN honors the sacred origin of each piece and seeks to elevate its presence through thoughtful display and storytelling.
6. Use of Website
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, engage in any activity that disrupts its function or security or use the Platform and/or Services for any purpose that is unlawful, illegal or forbidden by these Terms, or any local laws that might apply to You. We reserve the right to restrict access or take legal action if misuse is detected.
7. Eligibility & Account Use
You must be at least 18 years old to use this site or place an order. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining its confidentiality and for all activities under your login.
8. Force Majeure Clause
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or disruptions in supply chains.
9. Limitation of Liability
ERED LUIN (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED (including its officers, directors, employees, representatives, affiliates, and providers) will not be responsible or liable for
(a) any injury, death, loss, claim, act of God, accident, delay, or any direct, special, exemplary, punitive, indirect, incidental or consequential damages of any kind (including without limitation lost profits or lost savings), whether based in contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise, that arise out of or is in any way connected with
(i) any failure or delay (including without limitation the use of or inability to use any component of the Platform), or (ii) any use of the Platform or Services or content therein, or (iii) the performance or non-performance by us or any Facility Provider, even if we have been advised of the possibility of damages to such parties or any other party, or (iv) any damages to or viruses that may infect Your computer equipment or other property as the result of Your access to the Platform or Services or Your use of any content therein.
Notwithstanding anything in these Terms, ERED LUIN (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED’s total liability—along with that of its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents—will not exceed the price paid by you for the specific product or service in question.
If any loss or damage arises in part due to your actions or those of your third-party providers, our liability will be proportionately reduced.
This clause ensures fairness and balance, honoring both the artistry of our offerings and the shared responsibility of the journey.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold ERED LUIN (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED (and its officers, affiliates, group company, directors, agents and employees) harmless from any and against all claims, whether or not brought by third parties, causes of action, demands, recoveries, losses, damages, fines, penalties or other costs or expenses of any kind or nature, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, or arising out of or related to Your breach of these Terms, Your violation of any Applicable Laws or the rights of a third party, or Your use of the Platform or any disputes between You and any third party. The covenants of indemnity set forth herein shall survive and continue even after the termination of your use of the Services.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
